Am I the only one reading Skni's blogs? I sign on only to find my own comments!!! You guys have to have some memories, too. Skni, thanks for the bonus Halloween blog this week. I really didn't expect to see this Choir Tour blog as well!!! I do remember this trip. We went to Austin and took some sort of tram underground to look at caves, remember? What was that? And, yes, I remember the green jump suit from "Stars Over Meadowbrook". The theme that year was "Age of Aquarius". When I hear that song to this day, I think of that talent show. I was in a dance routine with B. Grimes and her sister, D. Rosco, Kathy "something" (she had red hair and lived down from M Beckman). But why in the heck would I wear that outfit on the choir tour? Same reason I had on the Amish outfit at Six Flags, I guess! And same reason DKee had on those snazzy red, white and blue slacks at camp!!!! The last picture must be Easter or Mother's Day? We have on corsages? Back to the choir tour....I believe this is the trip where I have a picture of DKee kissing GBar on the bus. Am I right? I also remember that JNan had just given me a Promise Ring and he couldn't go on the trip since he wasn't in choir. I think I am right but could be wrong. Some where in there, I had a huge thing for TTri. Boy, guess that would never have worked. I am rambling. These things just stir up such memories and thoughts. Thanks for letting me share. What's the deal with me and suckers? Don't answer that! love, JKLE

Susan,

I am enjoying the pictures so much. It definitely brings back wonderful memories of the summer I was at Jan's. We had a great time! So how are you?

The girl next to me (jpen) by the bus and sitting on the curb is once again - PATTY GUFFEY! For someone who doesn't remember us, she sure was around a lot!

It was either this choir trip or the next year that Jyou and I were "together" (I don't remember anymore if that was going steady, going out, boyfried/girlfriend?) Anyway we broke up on a choir trip and he hooked up with Angela Filewood. Funny, but I remember being very relieved at the time! jpen

Oh my, this is too good! This one blog will provide me fodder for years to come! Thanks Skni for all the work! look forward to exercising my spiritual gift of embarrassment here! Of course all those "hot" outfits are what kept us guys around all the time, lime green or not!

Yes it was those "hot" outfits that kept us guys coming around, at least as I remember it-even if they were lime green ! Looking forward to more fodder!

Thanks Skni for all the work!!

JNan, surely you aren't referring to my stylish lime green jump suit? Keep reading and looking - unfortunately you will see many interesting outfits! Did we really dress like that? Goodness! Can you say "goofy"? But, hey, we were definitely in vogue!!!! Jnan, be kind with your comments and critiques. Hugs all, JKle
