1970 Atlanta Visit

Fall 1970 Chop & I flew to Atlanta to visit Jkle. It was my first airplane ride, and it was the big one with two aisles.

Top picture is Chop & Jkle singing ...
I remember going to Six Flags, it had the cages that were lifted into the sky. I also remember pine tree forest in her back yard that we took a walk and almost got in trouble.

Next - I must have jet lag .... and the style is PLAID ! lol

I threw this in for fun: my room in 1970... Robert Redford on the ceiling.

I remember Skni's and Chop's (Skni, how are you getting "Char" out of Hopper?)trip to Atlanta. I missed all my FW friends so much. I think they came in the Fall of 1970. Homecoming had already taken place, so I think it was October or November. I remember Mrs. Knight sent a hostess gift. A 4 cup and saucer demitasse set from Niemann Marcus. I know, because my Mother bequeathed it to me and it currently sits in my china cabinet. Yes, we went to Six Flags over Georgia. I do remember going into the pine tree woods behind our house - it had a bluff overlooking the road below!!! Yes, we nearly got in trouble and it will remain a secret between me and Skni!!!! Love the picture of Skni's room about! Check out the big peace sign and hanging beads....70's or what?! Love it! Peace, sisters!!! love, jkle

I have no memory of the demitasse set, you will have to show me next time I am there.
Peace out

How many of us learned to type on a typewriter like the one in the background? I mentioned a typewriter the other day in class and no knew what I was talking about. How does that make you feel? tstei
